The comet 17P Holmes is still growing in size and appears fainter. This week we can get some dark sky views of it before the moon rises. The comet is still naked eye visible and a great object to view with binoculars. Its not quite as impressive as it was a couple weeks ago. Image credit, Brian Kimball, Longmont Astronomical Society.
