To advertise your Astronomy Day activities
here, we need certain information to classify your listing
and to pass on to the public. You can enter your changes
into this form and submit it to us. We will
update the Astronomy Day Activity page on a regular
basis and let you know when your event is listed. If there are any changes to your event, please
be sure to let us know!
The event will be listed under the
state (or country) you indicate. If there are other nearby states
you wish the event to be listed under, please include
this information in the description. After the event
has occurred, it will be removed from the Activities
page for the next year. We hope that you will send Astronomy
Day Coordinator Gary Tomlinson information about
the turnout and activities.
We also hope you will enter the Astronomy
Day contest that the Astronomical League sponsors with
Sky & Telescope Magazine. The award
is for the groups that hosts the best Astronomy Day
event (scroll down after linking to this page) .
First prize is a $250.00 Sky Publishing gift certificate.
