Astronomy Adventures is not
geared for young people, but for the people who work
with them. Each of the five chapters includes background
information on a broad astronomical theme and explains
the vocabulary used. Each chapter also includes a set
of activities for grades K-2 through ones appropriate
for grades 3-5 and 6-8. Even outdoor activities are
included, suitable for both daytime and nighttime use.
There is also a craft section and an appendix which
answers many astronomy questions, and includes suggestions
for further reading.
If you ever work with young people,
I think you will find Astronomy Aventures very helpful.
