Staunton River Star Party, Staunton River State Park, South Boston VA, March 21 - 25

This is Jayme Hanzak, president of the Chapel Hill Astronomical and Observational Society. CHAOS for short. We are hosting a star party at Staunton River State Park near South Boston Virginia. Information is located at www.stauntonriver-starparty.org. The Dates are March 21st - 25th of 2012. This is the first of what we hope to be many spring parties and we are also planning on having one in the fall. The skies at the park are in the blue of the light pollution map. Please pass this information on to your club members. Registrations is preregistration only and we are limiting the party to 150 this time around basically for control and to see how the field fills up.
