We've completed work to place the Observing Awards data online. You may now search for awards by clicking on "Awards List" which is located under "Observing Clubs" on the navigation menu on the left side of the page. To display observing awards you have received, select "All" for "Observing Clubs" , enter your last name, and then click on the "Submit" button. The database will be searched and all awards you have received will be displayed. If you wish to list everyone who has received a particular award, select the name of the "Observing Club" and then click "Submit". You may also list awards for all members of your society by entering the name of the society. You may not list all awards for all clubs, however.
There are some limitations because of how the interface was designed and implemented. The search terms must be exact, they are not "fuzzy" like you may be used to with most search engines. Note also, that the different award levels are listed separately. For example, if you have received an "honorary" Messier award, you will see two listings. One for the date of the regular award, and one for the honorary. This was done to preserve the dates of various award levels. We will almost certainly change how the information is displayed based on the feedback we get. What is being displayed now is a simplistic listing of what is in the database.
