2nd annual Green Bank Star Quest: July
6-9,2005
You are invited to attend a unique star party, high
in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. This
pristine site boasts of deep, dark skies and a top-notch,
indoor, climate controlled facitity for venders and
presentations. On-site campground with gravled roads
and a full bathhouse nearby, cafeteria and a snack bar,
all with a great view of the worlds largest steer-able
radio telescope. We plan to have four prominent keynote
speakers, one each night, who will chronical the search
for comets, asteroids, deep space objects and even extraterrestrial
intellegent life. Some participants will also get the
chance to learn hands-on radio astronomy. For more info
