Arne Henden, AAVSO Director

Arne Henden received his doctorate from Indiana University in 1985. He has since worked at Goddard Space Flight Center designing image processing systems;  at The Ohio State University building telescope
instrumentation;  at the U.S. Naval Observatory working on near-infrared instrumentation; and now as Director of the American Association of Variable Star Observers.  He is an observational astronomer, concentrating on variable stars and instrumentation.
