I want to go to the fermi lav event. My question is what do i have to pay for to go? I’m really only interested in the the initial lecture. Not the play or the boat ride dinner. Could i drive my self or…something. Can i have more information?
Hi! Thanks for your interest in ALCon! This is a really cool conference and we are stoked for this 150th anniversary celebration!
You are certainly welcomed to travel independently to Fermi and/or anyother of the daytrips. We have arranged charter buses as a convenience, especially for our out-of-towners.
Please register for the conference first. This is $35 per day/ $50 for 4 days–$75 per couple/ students $10 for all four days…. applies to grade school, high school and college students.
Fermi day tour is only $3!
Please consider staying for the play! This one-time-only performance is being solely for ALCon. The Playwright is a Fermi researcher Cornell professor and travels back + forth to monitor the auditions and rehearsals. The performers are putting serious effort and time into it… and you will love it. The subject matter is perfect for us considering the 150th anniversary, we will review the progress of astronomers/cosmology … and this certainly includes Hubble, Einstein and expansion of the Universe. The price of the play is greatly subsidized. Let’s give this cast a full audience! We’ll be glad we did : )
