How you can help amateur astronomy

The Astronomical League strives to support the endeavors of amateur astronomers across the USA. Our internationally respected Observing Programs, Reflector magazine, Youth Awards and programs, Recognition and Achievement Awards, Outreach efforts and materials, and Dark Sky advocacy – and so much more – are all made possible by the support of our members and those who generously donate their time, expertise, and money.

Without the efforts and participation of people like you, the Astronomical League would not be the major amateur astronomy organization that it is today!

If you wish to make a donation to the ASTRONOMICAL LEAGUE, you can do so in one of three ways!

Method 1. The quick and easy way is through the League Sales Web Store:

• Visit the League Sales web store at https://store.astroleague.org/
• Under “Categories” in the left hand column, there is a link for “AL Donations”. Click on that link.
• There is one “item” listed on that page. Click on “Donate to the Astronomical League”.
• Near the bottom of that item page are donation amounts that you can choose from.
• Select the donation amount, then click “add to cart”.
• Proceed to the “check-out” procedure from your shopping cart. Complete your address details.
• If you already have a League Sales account, log in. If not, you will need to create a new League Sales customer account. Complete the “Billing Information.”
• Shipping Method: automatic free shipping!

Payment Information:

• Select PayPal – even if you wish to use a credit card. Select “Continue.”
• Check over your order. Select “Confirm Order.” Takes you to PayPal check out page.
• If you wish to pay with PayPal, log in to your PayPal account.
• If you wish to pay by credit card, click “Pay with debit or credit card.” Complete the boxes. Don’t click “Create Account & Pay Now.” If you do, you will create a PayPal account. This is not required!

Method 2. As an alternative, you can contact League Sales directly at leaguesales@astroleague.org and they can send you a link to pay any amount you wish by credit card or by PayPal.

Method 3. Or you can mail your donation to the ASTRONOMICAL LEAGUE, 9201 Ward Parkway Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64114.
