The Children’s Museum in West Hartford, CT celebrates Astronomy Day 2018 on Saturday, April 21 with a “Space Game of Discovery.” Families and children will learn about Earth and space concepts, using a game board and participating in fun hands-on NASA-related Explore Science activity stations. A special planetarium schedule will be presented during the day. Weather permitting, safe solar viewing of the Sun will take place from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Meet your favorite characters from Guardians of the Galaxy from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.!

With the exception of planetarium shows, all Astronomy Day activities are included with general admission and member admittance on Astronomy Day. Museum hours on Astronomy Day are 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Admission to the Children’s Museum is $14.75 for adults, $13.75 for seniors (63+), $13.75 for children (2-12) and free for children under age 2.
