Astronomy Day at the North Museum

Astronomy Day at the North Museum
April 29, 2017 @ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

Explore the cosmos on Saturday, April 29, and celebrate International Astronomy Day with the North Museum of Nature and Science. From 11 am to 4 pm, participate in family-friendly space-themed activities and safe daytime observing of the sun, moon, and the planet Venus. Discover the wonders of the universe with a planetarium show in Central Pennsylvania’s largest planetarium, the SciDome Theater. Don’t miss an opportunity to interact with Lancaster’s own NASA Solar System Ambassador Axel Diaz and amateur astronomers from our local astronomy club, the Astronomy Enthusiasts of Lancaster County as they’ll be available to your answer your questions about astronomy and telescopes so you can get started in the hobby that reveals the hidden treasures within our sky and beyond.
