Astronomy Day Festival

On Sunday, April 22, 2018, from 3-9 p.m., The Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association (TAAA) will host a free Family Astronomy Day Festival at Brandi Fenton Memorial Park, 3482 E. River Road (River & Alvernon). TAAA will have solar telescopes during the day, plus astronomy exhibits and activities for kids from TAAA, Tucson L5 Space Society, UA Lunar & Planetary Lab, UA Tree Ring Lab, and OSIRIS-Rex Mission. In the evening, telescopes will be available for viewing the Moon and Planets, plus Star Clusters, Nebulae, and other deep sky celestial wonders. Help available for people with personal telescopes.
