Evening with the Stars

On Saturday April 21st be a part of celebrating our Cosmos at Crane Point Museum and Nature Center as part of International Astronomy Day activities. From 12pm to 2pm, come and view our star the Sun and the daytime Moon through special telescopes adapted for this purpose. Astronomer guides Jay Elliott and Elizabeth Moore will be on hand to lead you on the exploration. This event will occur outside the Museum alongside US 1 by the Flagler train and is free to the public.

Then come back at 7pm on the steps of the Museum for an awesome “Evening with the Stars”. Take a walk through the planets and get a good look at our Spring constellations as we approach summer. This program requires that participants be able to walk a gravel road for 1/2mile; there will be no transportation available to or from the Crane House during this program. All participants must arrive by 7pm at the Museum steps and gates will be closed at 7:15pm. Please dress for outdoor nighttime weather. No pets allowed due to the use of telescopes and other equipment. $6 Admission and children under 6 free. Call Jay at 305-394-0975.
