Lake Meade Messier Marathon MNarch 8 and 9

The Las Vegas Astronomical Society will be hosting a Messier Marathon the nights of March 8 and 9, 2008 at the Temple Bar Marina Camp Ground in Lake Meade National Recreation Area. The Temple Bar Marina is in Arizona. The turn off is about 20 miles south of Hoover Dam. Camping and motel rooms are available.  Smoky Mountain Star Gaze – March 28 thru April 6, 2008

Smoky Mountain Stargaze will be held from March 28, 2008 through April 6, 2008 under the dark skies of Whittier, NC in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Events include guest speakers, a swap meet, door prizes, field trips, and much more.
