Door Peninsula Astronomical Society is holding a Fall Astronomy Day on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Family and children's events will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, including hands on activities and a "Petting Zoo" for examining telescopes and binoculars. Planetarium demonstrations, observatory tours and solar viewing will also be available. At 7:00 in the evening, a lecture on Gravity Waves will be presented by Professor Michael Olson. Following the lecture, viewing will be available at the observatory.
