A Vacation for You and Your Telescope!

The Maine Astronomy Retreat (MARS) is an annual summer event for deep sky observers and astrophotographers. Located in mid-coast Maine, under some of the darkest skies in the northeastern United States, up to 40 participants observe and rest comfortably at night, and enjoy chef prepared food, and relax on a classic Maine lake during the day.
Talks and instruction are provided by Kelly Beatty (Sr. Editor Sky & Telescope), Bruce Berger (Amateur Telescope Makers of Boston) and Greg Mort (acclaimed artist and amateur astronomer).
