Monthly Star Parties are held near Winslow, AZ at Homolovi State Park from dusk till the last person leaves. Our monthly schedule is the third Saturday of each month except December. This event is a partnership of the Little Colorado River Valley Astronomy Club, Arizona State Parks and the City of Winslow. The group owns several telescopes, including 10″ and 14″ Schmidt Cassegrain telescopes and is currently constructing a small observatory at the state park which has been dubbed “WHO”. The public is encouraged to attend and members also bring their personal telescopes. During fair weather the parties usually attract 80-100 guests.

WHO is located at Homolovi State Park which is northeast of the City of Winslow on Hwy 87.
