One more positive Covid test has been reported. This makes a total of three reported positive tests after ALCon 2023.
To repeat our suggestion from our 1st post a few days ago: If you have any concern regarding a possible covid diagnosis, we strongly urge you to contact your medical team as soon as possible.

To All ALCon 2023 Attendees: Two Known Positive Covid Cases After ALCon 2023
Within the past 24 hours the League has been notified of two known positive cases of Covid after attendees returned home from ALCon.
While we assume that the number of positive cases is small, we will post updates on the League website and Facebook page as needed, if we receive further notifications.
I would strongly urge you to check with your medical team if you have any concerns about this situation.

Observing Program Division Announcement – Imaging Caldwell Change and Additional Eclipse Resources (2023)
Two new updates:
- Imaging – Caldwell: This Observing Program has been changed to allow for imagers to earn the “Silver” Level of only 70 objects. Click https://www.astroleague.org/imaging-caldwell-observing-program/.
- Additional Eclipse Resources have been added: Checklists for the Annular Eclipse (October) as well as the Total Eclipse (April). They are in color or black & white, and also English and Spanish. Click https://www.astroleague.org/timely-information-about-upcoming-major-celestial-events/.

Observing Program Division Announcement – Changes to the Imaging – Caldwell Observing Program (2023)
In an effort to make the Imaging – Caldwell Observing Program (OP) better aligned with the Caldwell OP, the Astronomical League now offers a 70 object level as well as the complete 109 object level for this OP.
