The NCRAL 2026 Regional Conference is coming up. It will be here before we know it In 2026 it will be in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and will be from May 15 through May 17. Put the dates on your calendar and plan to attend. To see the promotional video, click: “Mission Possible” Video – 2025-07-26.mp4.
The Astronomical League has developed a new Special Observing Challenge: The Huygens TOES Special Observing Challenge. The objective is to observe or image Titan’s Shadow as it crosses the face of Saturn. There are two events in August, and two in September. The next time is in 2040. As a Special Observing Challenge, there is a pin as well as a certificate. Be sure to scroll down on the page. This is Challenge #14.
